Mother Hen & Her Chicks Apron

Filed under: sewing — Lady M Quilts @ 6:42 pm

I self-drafted this apron to fit my generous proportions.  It has a nice wide waistband that is interfaced to keep it from rolling.  I used my ruffling foot to create the pleats for the ruffle…that was much easier than gathering by hand and a better result, too.  I fussy cut the pockets and both the pockets and the body of the apron are lined in muslin.  I liked this apron so much I made another one to sell…it’s listed at Retro Femme and then will go to Etsy.
